najbolj znan
po dolgoletnem sodelovanju s Petrom
Lovsinom,trenutno pa igra kitaro in poje se pri Bad Cats (bivsi Mad Dog).
Najmlajsi
clan zasedbe Gasper Oblak bobna se pri
Diverso in Opet.Blow Up so posneli in pred kratkim izdali ,pod imenom
Peter and
the Sellers,plosco v anglescini s Petrom
Lovsinom-Happy Hour.Obeta se tudi skupna turneja.. Fantje sodelujejo se z
eno
legendo-Branko Djuric-Djurom.Lanskega
julija so spremljali Djurota v Opatiji,kjer so bili predskupina Chuck Berry-ju.
07. 05. bodo Blow Up nastopili v
ljubljanskem Orto baru,kot gost pa se bo poleg Petra Lovsina in Djurota pojavil
se pevec

On July 4th, 1997, Paul Ryan and Jeremy Turner,
acquaintances through mutual friends, had a conversation that would change
their
lives. Shortly thereafter, the two
guitarists/vocalists got together and started jamming with the intent to create
a band embodying blistering
speed, total brutality, technical
proficiency, and the utmost in quality musicianship. In October, 1997, they
convinced long-time friend
Clint Appelhanz to put down his guitar,
pick up a bass and join them. Coincidentally, Paul was also good friends with
vocalist Mark
Manning, who possessed an unbelievably
monstrous voice of unmatched ferocity. After hearing the damage the existing
members had
rendered, Mark aligned himself with the
nascent group. In January, 1998, the quartet found drummer George Fluke, who
enabled the
artists to push the boundaries of their
music even further. Finally, after deciding on a moniker that best represented
their vision, the
unearthly entity known as ORIGIN was
created.
Four months after formation, ORIGIN landed
a high-profile gig opening for SUFFOCATION, and unleashed on the unsuspecting
crowd
a torrent of unbelievably technical,
pulverizing death metal. The band then entered the studio and recorded a
four-song, self-financed
and self-distributed demo entitled "A
Coming Into Existence," which received rave reviews. In October, 1998,
Origin secured an opening
slot on the "Death Across America”
Tour which included NILE, CRYPTOPSY, OPPRESSOR and GORGUTS. In February, 1999,
drummer
John Longstreth (ex-ANGEL CORPSE) joined
ORIGIN, replacing George Fluke, furthering the thunderous ORIGIN assault. John
also
brought with him bassist Doug Williams,
previously of CEPHALIC CARNAGE, who would also join ORIGIN, replacing Clint
Appelhanz.
The revamped lineup immediately began
writing new material and injecting more life and vigor into the old material,
while playing many
shows in Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico and
Arkansas. After obtaining the "A Coming Into Existence" demo, Relapse
Records quickly
welcomed ORIGIN into its family.
Referencing everything from ATHIEST to
SUFFOCATION, ORIGIN can only be described as a relentless musical war.
Exploding forth
with the intensity of a second Big Bang,
ORIGIN launch cranium-collapsing projectiles of extremely fierce deathgrind,
merging technicality
with utter brutality. A devastating live
set at the 1999 November To Dismember hinted at the contents of ORIGIN’s
self-titled debut. Their
debut delivered a punishing concussion,
fusing merciless staccato guitar riffing with a homicidal vocal triumvirate and
a rapid-fire percussive
attack that shatters the space-time
continuum. Menacing tracks such as "Lethal Manipulation (The Bonecrusher
Chronicles)," "Vomit You Out,"
"Mental Torment" and "Inner
Reflections" were but a few examples of ORIGIN's extremity. ORIGIN
performed at all the major 2000 U.S.
Festivals including the Milwaukee Metalfest,
Metal Meltdown, November To Dismember and the Midwest Metalfest, allowing many
newcomers
to witness the phenomenon. The buzz on the
band quickly grew as word of their uncompromising live performances spread
rapidly.
ORIGIN was invited to take part in the
high profile Death Across America 2000 Tour - joining forces with Poland’s
VADER and labelmates
CEPHALIC CARNAGE and DYING FETUS - further
annhiliating the metal masses. Soon after, ORIGIN embarked on yet another tour,
this
time alongside mathcore titans CANDIRIA,
Canada’s CRYPTOPSY and hardcore upstarts POISON THE WELL.
Merciless, enormous and all-encompassing,
ORIGIN delivered a sonic barrage of inhuman proportions with their next album,
the mind-eroding
"Informis Infinitas
Inhumanitas." Faster, darker and more complex than anything the death
genre has issued to date, "Informis Infinitas
Inhumanitas" showcased ORIGIN's
otherworldly musicianship while delivering heinous amounts of the band's unique
"aggro-tech" extremity.
Immediately following the release of
"Informis Infinitas Inhumanitas," ORIGIN hit the road as part of the
largest metal tour of the summer; with
NILE, ARCH ENEMY and HATE ETERNAL.
In 2005, ORIGIN returned with an enhanced
lineup featuring drummer James King and the return of guitarist Clint Appelhanz
to the devastating
lineup of super-tech musicians. The band
unveiled the absolutely mind-confounding album "Echoes of Decimation",
which immediately stunned
the metal community and catapulted ORIGIN
back amongst extreme music's elite acts. With Echoes of Decimation, ORIGIN
furthers their
decimating combination of inexplicable
speed, inhuman musicianship and unwavering brutality. Numerous U.S. tours
immediately followed
including headlining featured performances
at the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival and Ohio Deathfest. The band
then joined forces
for a summer North American tour with MALEVOLENT CREATION, blowing the doors
off of every venue along the tour trail night in and night
out. The tour is expected to run through
August, 2005 with more touring to follow. With the singular intent of
inflicting an otherworldly musical
battering, ORIGIN stop at nothing to
overpower, achieving extreme cosmic destruction.

Gerald Valentin and Manuel Rainer began
writing songs in summer 2000 under the name of VIOLENT DEVOTIES. One year later
the band
entered the local based TST Studio
(Disastrous Murmur...) to record their first demo, entitled „Grind Bitch
Perversions“. Following the release
of the demo the band played a lot of shows
and festivals in Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Germany, and Slovakia; as well as
with established bands
like SIX FEET UNDER, VADER, CRYPTOPSY,
MACABRE, or DYING FETUS. Between 2001 and 2004 the band continued playing shows
in Austria
and abroad with bands like DEAD INFECTION,
ABORTION, BEHEMOTH... as well as writing new songs for their first full length
album, entitled
„Entwined by Vengeance“ which got recorded
in summer 2004 at Hell Sound Studio (Avenger...) in Czech Republic. Due the
band suffered a lot
of line up changes through the years the
album was recorded by the founding members Gerald Valentin and Manuel Rainer.
After the recording
session Gerd K. (bass) and Phil K.
(guitar) joined the band and the band started booking their first European tour
which took part in September
2005. The band played countries like The
Netherlands, England, and Germany. After the tour the band parted ways with
Phil K. and Gerd K. took
over the 2nd guitar, whilst new member
Alex K. became the bands new bass player. In the mean time Vengeance Media
re-released the bands first
demo with bonus tracks under the banner of
„The Grind Bitch Demology“. In summer 2007 new vocalist Georg A. joined the
band due former vocalist
Gerald Valentin stopped singing due
medical reasons and to concentrate on his guitar work in the band. With that
line up the band entered YC Recordings
(Disharmonic Orchestra, Naked Lunch...) in
spring 2008 to record their five track EP “Within the Great and the Venom”. The
release date will be
December 5th, 2008. There are also plans
for another European tour in spring 2009. But at the moment the band is on
their search for a label to release
their upcoming full length album which
will get recorded in 2009... ...to be continued

QUARTET (SLO) pop rock KONCERT ODPADE. PRESTAVLJEN JE NA MESEC OKTOBER 2009
Bend nastane že leta1985, v isti postavi
kot danes, pod imenom SONČNA POT. Fantje se kmalu odločijo, da bodo
profesionalno glasbeno kariero
nadaljevali po diskotekah in klubih v tujini, zato se leta 1986 preimenujejo v
SUNNY WAY.
Po uspešnih nastopih v Avstriji,
Italiji, Nemčiji in Švici sredi leta 1988 podpišejo pogodbo s švicarsko
agenturo, razširijo
zasedbo s še enim
klaviaturistom-vokalistom in se preimenujejo v BEST COMPANY. Pod tem imenom
uspešno delujejo
vse do leta 1991, ko se že malce utrujeni
od petih let skoraj nepretrganega igranja in napornega tempa odločijo prekiniti
kariero. In po sedemnajstih letih
(1991-2008) se ponovno rodi SONČNA POT. Sprva kot trio (kitara,bas,bobni), ki
se jim
kmalu pridruži še četrti ustanovni član
in skupina dobi ime

Chaosstar so klasični metal jurišniki,
katerim je žaganje več kot le hobi, je način življenja. Fantje na široko črpajo
iz
zapuščine številnih podzvrsti metal godbe,
strumno tlakovanje lastne izrazne poti pa jim pogosto pridaja progresivni
predznak.
Lahko bi rekli, da povsem v skladu s teorijo kaosa, ki pravi, da je kaos
svojem središču urejen. Kakorkoli
že, Chaosstar se predvidljivi metalski
žagovini ne pustijo zapeljati. Nedavno izdani album Lifetime je prišel kot
dokončna
potrditev velikih potencialov zasedbe.
Nepozabne, nalezljive ter vsekakor impresivne inštrumentalne dele, ki se jih ne
bi
sramovala niti velika imena metala kot so
Iron Maiden, Dream Theater ali Symphony X, Chaosstar nadgrajujejo s
fantastičnim
vokalom Jureta Jurce, ki s komaj opaznim
naporom obvladuje nečloveške višave a la Rob Halford. Chaosstar so mojstri
kovanja nadzvočno hitrih, apokaliptičnih,

LENE KOSTI
Lene kosti. Vam to ime kaj pove? Bili so, ko
je bil heavy metal mlad. Pred njihovimi energičnimi nastopi so nekoč bežale
skupine, saj so Lene kosti sleherno med
njimi »do golega olupile« ter pometle z odra, kadar so se znašle v njihovi
družbi
istega večera na odru. Russian Girl je
pravo čtivo potentnega boogie rocka skrižanega s 5. hitrostno prestavo stare
okostenele heavy metalske arogance, ki jo
ob čvrsti riffovski vožnji bratov Kavaš v skupini uteleša zlasti visoko
karizmatična
pojava pevca Milana Krušiča.
Od kod sedaj ta nenaden preklop na »že
davno« pokopane Lene kosti, boste vprašali? Hja, letos poleti so pogledale iz
zemlje
in se spravile v nov življenjski pogon,
katerega krona je bil »come back« nastop skupine v Ljubljanskih Novih Jaršah,
kjer so
fantje v postavi brata Marc (kitara) in Giovanni
Kavaš (kitara), Janez Dagarin (bas kitara) in Igor Kremenšek (bobni) praznovali
30. obletnico ustanovitve skupine. Ob tem
dogodku ni ostal ravnodušen niti Milan Krušič, ki se je tistega večera nahajal
pod
odrom koncerta skupine. Fantje, ki so ga
med koncertom pod odrom opazili, so ga povabili da odpoje skladbo Russian Girl.
Krušič se ni pustil prositi dvakrat in
magija je bila rojena znova. Lene kosti so svojo združitev na čelu s pevcem
Milanom Krušičem
potrdile še sredi oktobra 2008 z nastopom
v Ivančni Gorici in konec decembra 2008
v Ljubljani. Skupina je v začetku februarja
2009 nastopila v Ljubljani pred
legendarnimi nemškimi heavy metalci Grave Digger. Ob tej priložnosti se je
Lenim kostem med
izvedbo skladbe Russian Girl pridružil na
odru tudi Grave Digger kitarist Manni Schmidt.
Skupina trenutno nastopa po koncertih
in pripravlja novi glasbeni material.
SHUTDOWN
Mlada Hard/Heavy rock skupina Shutdown je nastala
spomladi leta 2006 v Vrtojbi pri Novi Gorici, ko se je zbralo pet fantov,
ljubiteljev rock glasbe 80ih let.
Petčlanska skupina je začela koncertirati konec leta 2006 še s prvo postavo.
Sedaj skupino sestavljajo
Egzi
(vokal), Domen (solo kitara), Murva (ritem kitara), Dafo (bas kitara) in Pejo (bobni). Poleg izvajanja avtorske
glasbe prisegajo
tudi na priredbe zgodnjega heavy metala in
hard rocka. Pečat so pustili po celi primorski pa tudi v notranjosti
Slovenije.Trenutno se
pripravljajo na snemanje prvenca.

Scroll
is rock group created in 2005 by Mark
and Tony Mrakovcic, Filip Romac and Leon Culjak.
Thanks to their recognizable sound, mostly
thanks to great vocals and fast riffs, they were acknowledged quickly by the
fans as a
band that brings rock n'roll back where it
should be.Through intense grunge sound, followed by cheerful vocal parts, or
through
acoustic ballads and sweet guitar melodies
followed by excellent lyrics, Scroll has managed to create their special and
recognizable style.
Already with their first concerts back in 2005 they have managed to get
people's attention and even good comments from the critics.
This first success allowed them to pursue
their dream and to develop into a real rock band. The evolution of their live
performance is
somewhat typical... They started playing
in local pubs and bars, but very quickly they started playing the real gigs in
bigger clubs, in
front of a much bigger audience. They have
played all over Croatia, in every major town, and also in Slovenia and
Italy. SCROLL's gigs
are always a lot of fun because they
dedicate themselves completely to their music, and create a special connection

through humor, rage, or simply through
their vivid performance. Crazy vocal, drum and guitar improvisations create a
really unique
atmosphere and sometimes leaves the
audience thinking... "What the hell did I just see? Did this guy actually
sing that or was it something
pre-recorded?" - This was actually
the case on one of the concerts when Mark (lead guitar/vocals) sang a guitar
solo. The people were
dazzled. ("Gadget" solo was
actually sung, not played on guitar.)
In order to make every one of their concerts an amazing experience both for the
audience and for themselves, they insist on creating a
whole audio-visual show. Together with 14
songs of their own, they also love to kick in sometimes with Pixies, Nick Cave
or Radiohead.
One of their sanctuaries is their garage, where they record their own music
Since they started playing in 2005, they started recording
their own music. With the creation of
their web site, these recordings became available on internet, to a much
broader audience.
One concert after another made it possible
for Scroll to be recognized by the audience as one of the most promising and
original rock
groups in Croatia.
