The club would offer them independence and allow them to remain as they are and not be swept away by the winds. That's why they named him Orto (not deviating from the set path).<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">The virtual club became a reality in December 1994, when they finally opened it after two years of work. The old Zmaj factory, where Orto is located, was discovered by Andrej in a newspaper advertisement. Then, together with architecture student Primo\u017e Jeza, they designed the interior and brought their vision to life. For creating this vision, Jeza received the Ple\u010dnik Student Award in 1998.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">The opening of Orto, with its unique, authentic design and music program, caused a real euphoria among visitors to bars in Ljubljana and in Slovenia as well. In the foggy sleepy Ljubljana, after several years of dormancy, the punk-rocker-alter spirit awoke, which finally found its \"home\" with the opening of Orto. The word bar was added to the word Orto itself so that people would know that it is a public space. Half a year after the opening, the first band - Lete\u010di potepuhi - performed, and then 150-200 different bands performed every year. Among them, in addition to sounding domestic names, there were also many foreign ones. Then in 1999, the lower part of the bar, which is called the bar, got an even younger brother on the upper floor, which is called the club. This gave the concert and other programs in Orto an additional boost. In this second period, the architect \u0160pela Kokalj helps them in their design to this day.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">Although the space has expanded, it has retained its club atmosphere and excellent acoustic comparability with music studios. There are very few local punk-rock, pop, metal musicians who have not performed here since the opening of the bar, since from 1994 until today, more than 5,000 performances by local and foreign bands have taken place in Orto. In addition to the concert events, Orto is also known for its rich DJ program, which is performed both in the lower rooms and in the club.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">The new acquisition of Orto's complete offer also includes the year 2007, when smokers got their own space (smoking room) and another entertainment area with billiards and hand football was opened on the lower floor. Every year, Orto also hosts the only month-long club music festival in Slovenia! The already traditional Orto Fest takes place every year in the month of April and at that time serves a large number of musical events.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">Orto continues the basic mission of its operation, which it set for itself at the very opening. To be self-contained, independent, daring, fun and homely and to offer guests a wide and varied music and DJ program, also on an international level. At the same time, Orto has always been a refuge for everyone who needs a place where they can always be themselves. However, only in accordance with the program scheme of the bar - if the desired date is free for other events that we organize. The space can be rented for private events (birthdays, company parties, anniversaries, presentations, private events...). Depending on the wishes of the client, Orto can also take care of the entire event (provision of a DJ, thematically selected food and drinks, animation team, announcer, etc.), or you can just rent the space and take care of the entire event yourself. Orto can be rented in the morning, all days of the week, or by agreement according to the program scheme of the bar.
