AlphaWhores je bratsko-sestrski duo, ki igra stoner\/alternativni metal iz mesta Panama v Panami in je nastal leta 2021. Zvok skupine je resni\u010dno edinstven in ga je te\u017eko opredeliti, \u010deprav se spomnimo nasprotujo\u010dih si in razli\u010dnih besed, kot so masivni, surovi, melodi\u010dni, mote\u010di, privla\u010dni, neizprosni in divji. Brat in sestra (Massiel Pinz\u00f3n in Juan Carlos Garc\u00eda de Paredes) preklapljata med nizkimi toni kitar in basov ter bobni, hkrati pa ustvarjata zanimive vokalne melodije in harmonije. Intenzivna sinergija, ki jo pogosto dose\u017eeta pri skupnem igranju, ustvarja ob\u010dutek, da sta dve zvo\u010dni entiteti, ki se zdru\u017eita v eno samo in mo\u010dno glasbeno silo. Debitantski album skupine AlphaWhores (preprosto naslovljen AlphaWhores I) je pravkar iz\u0161el iz pe\u010dice in pripravljen, da ga bo svet preizkusil.<\/strong><\/p>\n

AlphaWhores is an alternative rock \/ metal duo from Panama, Central America, formed by Massiel Pinz\u00f3n and Juan Carlos Garc\u00eda de Paredes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In March 2026 AlphaWhores return for their second tour in Europe to celebrate the release of their critically acclaimed second album, \u2018You Can Come Out Now\u2019, which includes the singles \u201cBloodsport\u201d, Beautiful Music, Awful Person\u201d and \u201cPirate Mode\u201d. The new album is available to listen to or buy on vinyl now and exclusive new merchandise will be available at the tour dates.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Says AlphaWhores about the new album:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cYou Can Come Out Now\u201d is a bold, emotionally charged journey through the fragile terrains of identity, mental health, betrayal, rage, and resilience. Each track reveals a different facet of human vulnerability, from quiet inner chaos to explosive catharsis. The album refuses to shy away from discomfort\u2014it embraces it, shaping raw experience into sound. It\u2019s a reckoning and a release, a sonic shedding of old skin to make space for something more honest, more awake. This isn\u2019t music for the faint-hearted. It\u2019s music for those who\u2019ve been to the edge and came back louder.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Massiel and Juan Carlos started working together over twenty years ago when they were both members of the Panama based alternative rock band Mab\u00ed and they\u2019ve collaborated on various musical projects since then.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2021, following the end of longstanding personal relationships for them both, Massiel and Juan Carlos found themselves in the studio together jamming and making new music, as a way to help them process the changes happening in their lives. The studio sessions were so successful that they decided to make it into a new music project and AlphaWhores was born.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the band\u2019s name, Massiel and Juan Carlos say:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cOur name is a play on words from the Spanish word alfajores, which are pastries very common in South America. It’s just a joke for whoever gets it, and some people have lol. Not trying to be edgy or off-putting, rather just silly.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

AlphaWhores released their debut about, I (\u2018one\u2019), in January 2024 preceded by the singles \u2018Same Team\u2019, \u2018Raw Nerve\u2019, and \u2018GTO.\u2019 As well as international touring, AlphaWhores are currently working on their third album.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
