Friday night fever is a novelty in Orto, which we introduced in September 2010 and represents dance disco funk music from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s.

The great growth of funk music occured in the seventies when it was often used in films. The ever-positive orientation of the music in which wind and brass instruments were a component part of the music gained a large number of followers throughout the world. When disco music was created in the second half of the seventies, the entire structure of this music was founded on elements of funk. This type of music maintains a large number of followers even today, precisely because of its positive attitude.

Spin and party every Friday to selected disco funk hits in Orto bar next to the smoking room. You will not regret it!

DJ presentation:

DJ Magic started regulary back in 1990 as a music editor and sound technician on Radio Student, and started to play music in the club K4, every thursday on student parties, where he excelled at unofficial Yu rock parties, massively attended from all parts of ex Yugoslavia. He played music at the K4 till the end of 1999, and then switched to Orto where he remains resident even today. DJ Magic is your DJ on Orto Disco nights and Saturday Orto Super Hits nights.

In between constantly performing in the two aforementioned clubs he covered a variety of big events, company parties, was a guest all over Slovenia and Croatia, collaborated with Slovenian bands and also managed them. For more info, check his website www.djmagic.si .
